Casa Perbellini is in the heart of Verona, on Piazza San Zeno. It was opened in 2014 by chef Giancarlo Perbellini, who was awarded two Michelin stars the year after. It is a restaurant with an unusual format, very informal: you have the impression of entering an ordinary home, in a relaxed setting with just 24 places for diners. The novel concept presented by this venue is the idea of creating close contact with diners, breaking down all barriers.
The kitchen is in full view, so that guests can not only enjoy the taste experience, but also watch the way in which the recipes are prepared, a combination of tradition and innovation. It is a true performance, in which every action is carefully orchestrated by the chefs and serving staff.
Here are some examples of the chef’s sublime creations: sesame wafer, sea-bass tartare, creamy goat’s cheese with spring onion and a hint of liquorice; king crab with endives, peppers and amaranth crunch; lamb, peas, pecorino cheese whey, polenta and tarragon. An unforgettable culinary experience.
Open from Tuesday to Saturday, 12.30pm-2pm, 7.30pm-10pm. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
