For many years now, Pietro Leemann, who was first awarded a Michelin star in 1996, has been delighting diners with his original vegetarian and vegan recipes that offer a sequence of culinary surprises of absolute quality. Minimalist interiors, a kitchen in full view, explanations from the chef, incredibly creative recipes and a long, exciting story are just some of the ingredients. His mystical approach to cuisine blends flavour with philosophy, and expresses his deep-rooted desire to change the world of food.
Joia Gourmet costs about €100 per person, open from Monday to Saturday for lunch (midday-2.30pm) and dinner (7.30pm-11pm), closed on Sundays, while Joia Kitchen, Leemann’s bistrot, offers more accessible prices, open from Monday to Friday, lunch and dinner, from 12.20pm to 2.30pm, and from 7.30pm to 11pm.
