This diving centre has the deepest pool in the world: 33 metres, containing 2.5 million litres of water at a temperature of 32 degrees Centigrade. It is used both by expert divers for practice, and by beginners, or anyone who wants to try something different. In addition to scuba diving courses, breath-hold dives are possible up to a depth of 10 metres, at prices starting from €20. The unusual features of Nemo go even further: at 5 metres depth there is a restaurant whose name reflects its shape: the Pearl. This is a pearl-shaped chamber immersed in the water, with circular portholes and scuba-diver waiters. The Pearl has room for just two people and so it is ideal for a special celebration. You just have to leave the gas tanks at the entrance, and then you can take your place at the table in this intimate restaurant. Then the diver-waiters will give you the menu that they have brought with them in a waterproof case. Recipes are chosen according to the situation but they are in any case very sophisticated: for example, champagne and lobster salad. Remember to take your smartest swimming costume.
Nemo 33 is open from Monday to Friday, 10am-11pm, Saturday 10am-midnight, Sunday 10am-10pm.
